Implement the strategic direction for and provides operational and clinical oversight for patient populations receiving home care services. Leads, manages and evaluates all of the major processes in Home Care including patient care, staff on-boarding and development, staff/leadership resources, productivity, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The manager assists with financial forecasting and monitoring, and ensures the patient care outcomes and quality improvement activates are coordinated withing the care delivery model. The manager ensures that the practice is consistent with internal and external policies, regulatory agencies and the best practice quality standards.

Start up of new Medicare home care agency. Responsible for reviewing new policies and process for new agency, hiring and orientating new staff. Responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services. Responsible for team of 30-35 clinical staff of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social worker, and nursing assistants.

Responsible for the provision of appropriate and adequate care to clients in their homes in accordance with program requirements, quality standards and company policies and procedures. Provide supervision and training to caregiver staff and assures compliance with documentation and MD order requirements. Responsible for administering home health care to adults as well as pediatric clients. Lead nurse at a shared living site with patients on ventilators. Duties at shared living site included ordering all medical supplies, medications for patients and in charge of all staff and staffing issues. Additional duties included cooking, patient care, administering medications, charting of daily activities and medical provisions.

Provide direct supervision of care giving within the residence, to include nursing assistants. Foster a home like atmosphere throughout the residence in 2 homes with up to 35 residents.

Responsible for the care , medication administration, and treatments for 15-30 patients on a TCU. Included in the responsibilities were supervising other nurses and CNA's. The knowledge and experience gained included tracheostomy care, wound vacs, peritoneal dialysis, TPN administration, central line/IV maintenance, and medication administration.
