I have performed a wide variety of functions over my career, but always at the bedside caring directly for a person. There are always new machines and drugs and protocols. I enjoy learning new things, but nurses ultimately care for human beings. That is what has kept me excited about being a nurse for thirty three years.

6/3/2019-5/1/20 Pediatric Critical Care Float Team. I provided bedside care in PICU and NICU.


5/1/20-present Adult Critical Care Care Float team. I provide bedside care in SICU/trauma, MICU, neuro ICU, Burn ICU, and 8 south, which is a mixed ICU.


I also occasionally work in the ER (but not the trauma bay) and the rapid response team.

Travel contacts at St. Mary, Decatur, Il, Metro South, University of Chicago. I provided bedside ICU care at St. Mary and Metro South, and would float to the floors if needed. I worked all adult and pediatric ICUs and floors at University of Chicago. (Not ER at this time). I would go to mother/ baby but never labor and delivery. I also worked on the rapid response team. I have no OR experience.

I worked multiple contracts at University of Wisconsin Madison totaling 21 months, mainly neuro ICU but floating to TLC (trauma/surgical) ICU, burns and step down as needed.


I was also picking up overtime at U of C through Med-Call at this time.

I am comfortable with multiple trauma patients, complicated wound care, including burns, post-op open heart patients, multi system organ failure, solid organ transplant patients, and extensive Abdominal surgical patients I deal frequently with septic shock, DKA, ARDS, MIs, and heart failure

I frequently use CVVHD, LVADs Heartmate 2 and 3), ventilators, balloon pumps, pacemakers, and Impellas, IV vasopressors, ionotropes, antihypertensives, and Swan Ganz catheters, and arterial lines I am proficient in telemetry and can perform a 12 lead

I take care of both adult and pediatric patients

I am BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and CCRN
