Volunteer, Sex and Gender Health Collaborative Education Initiative, 2022 - Present

  • Working in collaboration with other students and professionals throughout the country to develop educational materials about sex and gender differences in clinical medicine.
  • My group is focused on researching and documenting sex and gender differences in arrhythmias, expertly reviewed by a cardiologist, to ultimately generate publishable fact sheets, slide series, and video educational materials.

President, Women in Medicine Club, 01/2022 - 06/2022

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills by motivating and inspiring members to become more involved with the organization.
  • Hosted workshops; most notably the first PAP Smear + Breast exam clinic since the start of the pandemic. In this clinic under the direction of our OBGYN faculty advisors, we provided over 80 local women with breast and PAP exams with result follow-up, treatment if necessary, and referrals to specialists at no cost.
