Patrick Brown

Burbank,Wa

Summary

Most recently I did door to door pest control sales for duo pest control. I would walk around all day talking to new people and convincing them to choose our company, sadly the company shut down. However before that I got three years of experience working with a diverse group of people around Burbank and the Tri-Cities area. I have independently engaged in various roles within the Tri-Cities area, including Sign holding, landscaping, concessions, volunteer work, painting houses, automotive work, retail, irrigation, helping people move out, demolition Washing cars and customer service. I have done volunteer work for my local library, concession stands for my high school basketball games, and assisted in tasks such as transmission changes and comprehensive car detailing, and many other odd jobs around the tri cities area, which contributed to my own personal growth. These experiences have enabled me to develop strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. I am usually recognized for my dedication and strong work ethic, consistently striving to deliver high-quality results. My availability is flexible, and I am willing to cover shifts as needed. References from previous employers are available upon request. Authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Work Around Town
01.2020 - Current
  • For the past three years, I have been self-employed, providing a variety of services to my local community, including yard maintenance, house painting, landscaping, some irrigation, washing cars, helping people move out and running errands. Through this work, I have developed strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, all of which I believe would translate well into a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. It also taught me to show respect in my work and for other peoples property.
  • Talked and worked for upwards of 30 people
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

I helped move stuff around for the american legion during the parade. They sell food and various items that we had to put out and then we went and handed out several hundred american flags to onlookers of the parade. We were able to make everyone's day better and take some of the work off of the veterans. They paid us in food!

  • Did door to door sales for pest control to market their brand. I would do it from 1-8pm constantly meeting new people and trying to convince them to switch to our company. I was able to get several sales in the kennewick area and build a better reputation for the company. However the company had a few of their technicians quit so they shut down because they couldn't have us book anymore appointments. Honesty prepared me for anything though.

The mechanic rebuilds carburetors and has worked on many classic cars and won many competitions. I also live with a mechanic who had an independent automotive business around a decade ago.
