Patrick Corcoran

A professional media producer with experience in pre-production writing, storyboarding and casting. Production experience in lighting, composition, filming and direction. Post-production experience in editing, FX, color correction, sound design and codec formatting. I’m proficient in the major non-linear editing software.

Accomplishments:

• Produced a multi city documentary for Epic Hair Movement.

• Produced live events for Paul Mitchell.

• Founded a successful wedding videography business.

Worked with departments including Security, The Family Resource Center, Education and External Affairs to produce visual tools such as tutorials, posters, videos and educational displays to be used for training, safety, special events, hospital promotion and workplace efficiency. I’m always looking for new opportunities that will be an asset to Children’s.

Accomplishments:

• Filmed, edited, co-wrote, co-directed, cast, created FX and co-produced two training videos for the Security department.

• Filmed, edited, produced and co-directed a video of self defense class for women.

• Created a poster of appropriate Children’s badges to increase safety.

Processes a wide range of clinical documentation, imaging and provider correspondence for insurance payers to authorize medical services prior to their appointment date. Exceeded my daily targets on a consistent basis. Trained on six different insurance payers and their processes. Trained and coached new staff members. Helped management to identify workflow issues and find solutions.
