Spent 1 year attending Jamestown Community College before I enlisted in the Navy Seabees. Attended A School and then continued my education by taking night classes. I spent 4 years in a Seabee Battalion where I was able to travel to Europe, Japan, and Puerto Rico. I learned much about the people's culture in each of those countries. I worked as a in country buyer of materials and equipment while stationed in Sigonella, Sicily. I interfaced with local suppliers and had to learn to speak Italian during my time in Country.
