  • Responsible for daily operations of emergency services, house officers, hospital float pool PCA's and PICC team. Large volume ED that sees 59,000 annually.
  • Employee Advocate for Mission Trail Baptist hospital to provide resources to all staff and reduce the risk of turnover.
  • System Emergency Department(ED) Service-line lead. Responsible for escalating concerns for all facility ED’s to senior leaders. Working directly with CNO’s, medical and nursing directors to improve quality of care.
  • Baptist Leadership Academy lead for Emergency Department throughput. Responsible for coordinating system leadership from nursing and ancillary areas to focus on issues impacting ED throughput. Presented information via power point detailing our progress at Baptist Leadership Academy 200 plus leaders during quarterly conferences.
  • Project leader for Workforce Transformation Scheduling tool for Mission Trail Baptist. Working directly with vendor project team to schedule meetings and develop tool specific to our needs for entire facility in all areas.
  • Project leader for Airstrip implementation for Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, working directly with vendor to test, prepare and go-live for use in clinical areas.
  • Event liaison for Mission Trail Baptist Chanclas Y Cerveza’s Fiesta event. Mission Trail Baptist is the First Aid sponsor annually for this event. Work directly with event sponsor to provide equipment, staffing and hospital marketing materials.
  • Responsible for annual clinical contract reviews for multiple vendors providing services to ED and facility.
  • South Texas Regional Advisory Council ED Operations Co-Chair since October 2021. Assist in developing meeting agenda and chair/co-chair meeting.
  • Assist in conducting ad-hoc meetings with Regional Emergency Department Operations group as needed.
  • Assist in developing, planning and setting agenda for South Texas Regional Advisory Council National Confernce annually. Hosting conference site for Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics and other emergency healthcare providers.
