· Oversee facility operations for multiple campuses including plant operations, environmental services, construction, security, renovations, and the maintenance of mechanical heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water, refrigeration, biomedical equipment, IT/telecommunications systems, fire suppression and facility safety systems including emergency power generation.

· Implements pertinent sections of the System’s strategic plans and management action plans.

· Direct facility improvements, including construction and renovations, aligned with institutional goals and needs

· Lead needs assessments and cost-benefit analyses for new programs, equipment and services.

· Prepares and implements annual operating and capital budgets

· Ensure survey readiness (DOH and HUD) by developing, implementing, and overseeing survey documentation manuals.

· Directs and ensures institutional compliance with federal, state and local safety, environmental protection, fire protection and infection control regulations and standards, as well as accreditation requirements.

· Responsible for all facets relative to contractual arrangements concerning equipment, maintenance, environmental services, security, construction and renovations, in partnership with the Purchasing department.

· Fosters a compliance focused environment, ensuring adherence to all state and federal laws, regulations and standards.

• Ensured safety compliance by conducting regular inspections, addressing potential hazards, and enforcing facility regulations.
• Collaborated with internal departments to schedule necessary repairs or renovations while minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
• Developed comprehensive emergency response plans to minimize downtime during unexpected events or disasters.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the facility management activities of the Catholic Health Administrative and Regional Training Center (ARTC) including, but not limited to maintenance, environmental services, security, and reception.
• ·Analyze costs and work schedules; sets priorities; expedites operations and repairs.
