• Lead the department in the replacement of all network switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Previously used a mixture of Netgear and Dell managed switches, Watchguard firewalls, and Open Mesh wireless AP’s. Standardized all of the equipment and replaced it with Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless AP’s, which allowed for better visibility into the health of our infrastructure and environment.
• Retired our SCCM server used to image and deploy new workstations and implemented Microsoft AutoPilot, allowing us to keep a closer eye on our equipment and setup/deploy new equipment in a quicker timeframe.
• Restructured our cybersecurity training for our staff to cover multiple phishing scenarios each month in order to create awareness and educate them on what to look out for.
• Worked with managed service provider to take the organization from a failing HIPAA risk assessment to a passing assessment.
