Operated and maintained computer and weapons systems equipment from the Technician level up to the Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer level. System responsibility range from Baseline 5 and 7 Aegis Combat Systems, display sets, computer suite, comms shack uplink and down-link equipment, auxiliaries, MK41 Vertical Launch System, SQQ-89 Anti-Submarine Warfare suite, as well as other small and large caliber weapon systems. Ballistic Missile Defense experience on versions 3.6 and 4.0.
Promoted unit efficiency by conducting training seminars and quality assurance to educate subordinate personnel on effective equipment maintenance and troubleshooting methods.
Directly responsible for the safe completion of preventive maintenance on set schedules.
Performed troubleshooting, diagnosed, and advised teams on malfunctioning equipment in real time while on mission.
Conducted tests of components and systems to evaluate performance and identify concerns via OCSOT and other methods in preparation for Live Firing, INSURV, and major Fleet-wide Synthetic Training (FST) events.

Engaged in both long and short-term project planning, strategizing for on-time, high-quality training for more than 300 courses of instruction to 35 platforms (CRUDES and AMPHIB) on the San Diego waterfront during the time-based Basic Phase of the Training Cycle.
