  • I've worked for more than 30 years in public safety. My work in the Florida Keys had us doing a lot with very little. We are a remote chain of islands 130 miles long. We figured out quickly how to get the job done and we all worked well together doing it. I also have a background in construction and mechanical repair. I spent time as a radio station DJ and a musician in a band. I feel these extra curricular activities have really rounded out my skill sets and bring added value to any organization. I work well with diverse groups and adapt to any situation. I feel I would be a huge asset to any offshore operation.

Accomplishments

  • Ive had the opportunity to advance from lead paramedic to flight medic early in my career. My promotion to Lieutenant took me away from the flight program, but it afforded me the opportunity to be a fire instructor and company officer for the last 13 years. I've always been a teaching supervisor. I enjoy getting the best out of all my co workers. My greatest successes are my students. I have a few Phoenix Awards, but I don't use those to measure my accomplishments.
  • 10 years Flight Medic with Trauma Star air ambulance (Monroe County Fire Rescue)
  • Inter-facility and scene transports (Stroke, STEMI, Trauma Alert)
  • Experience in IV pumps and ventilators.
