Design error , change order project was $8.5M costed $10.25M design forgot that Galveston is low water table . Hydro excavation ,special shoring .Project on Time suspension , Concrete pour on foundation 4ft pour step foundation .Construction to Maintenance of project to acceptance .

Verify interior of control panel is clean, corrosion free, and A/C unit is functioning. Verify no water leakage into panel. Verify junction panel is clean inside and inspect electrical connections for corrosion. Verify HMI is displaying normal indications with no displayed alarms. Verify wet well levels displayed. Verify controller set to automatic. Verify correct pump operation. Verify no unusual smell of burned electrical wiring/components.

Reduce the duration and impacts of street flooding, helping to preserve emergency access to all of the residents .The project will upgrade the stormwater system along Bayou Shore Drive. A pump station to mitigate the effects of high tide events .

Key responsibilities

• Effectively communicate and reinforce any changes in procedures or policy to workers
• Ensure that the work goes smoothly, efficiently and is up to productivity standards
• Inspecting ,testing /QC/QA following plans and specifications
• DWR Daily work report documenting , estimates , deficiencies
• Identify, label and prepare samples for forwarding to laboratory if testing is requested
• Material needs to be USA made following, plans , standard and specifications per Federal, state ,city and county standards
• Project meetings with Federal, State ,City ,county and stakeholders updating them on progress made

• Manages and monitors the performance of employees through goal setting, ongoing assessment, and coaching. • Works with state auditors on the project, reviewing and evaluating ongoing issues. • Coordinates the punch-list walkthrough with all stakeholders on the project.

• Assisting in updating project files and procedures with the designer, supervising and controlling construction procedures according to the plans and specifications, and keeping all records of testing and measurements while reporting issues related to construction.
