Air Force Environmental Tanks Fuel and POL (Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants) Manager within the Civil Engineer Squadron (CES). The program contained over 125 AST's (Above Ground Tanks).Overseeing the safe storage, handling, and environmental compliance of fuel infrastructure, ensuring zero contamination and regulatory adherence for operational readiness

Key Responsibilities and Roles:

• Environmental Compliance & Tanks: As program manager. Primary duty is to ensure compliance with environmental regulations for all fuel storage tanks (USTs/ASTs), handling contaminated fuel disposal, and monitoring for leaks.
• POL Management : Fuels Management specialist operate, maintain, and inspect fuel facilities, including hydrants and tanks, to receive, store, and issue fuel safely.
• Infrastructure Maintenance : Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance personnel specifically focus on repairing and maintaining fuel distribution systems, pipes, and tanks to prevent environmental hazards.
• Quality Control: test fuel samples from tanks for contaminants (water, sediment, solids) to ensure aircraft and vehicle safety.
• Strategic Oversight: Programs like the Air Force Storage Tank Accounting and Reporting System (STAR) and AFCEC Integrated Fuels Team manage data, compliance, and infrastructure modernization.

Additional duties;

Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder. Accountable for for Environmental MasterCard credit with a $36,500 yearly budget. As a GPC holder responsible for making authorized, mission-related purchases, ensuring compliance with spending limits, and maintaining 100% documentation, including receipts and independent logs. Reconciling statements within 3-5 business days, disputing invalid charges, and avoiding prohibited split-purchases

Air Force Information Technology Asset Management (ITAMS) specialists. Accountable for Environmental IT inventory assets includes but not limited to laptop, desktop computers, monitor screens, printers shredders and TV monitors. A total of 52 items with a combined value of $47,7000. IT duties include; hardware and software—acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal—to ensure cybersecurity compliance, operational readiness, and cost optimization. Key responsibilities include tracking assets, verifying inventories, managing software licenses per DoD regulations, and performing hardware sanitation before disposal.

• Ensure compliance of assigned safety goals and program requirements in close cooperation with permit holder Holloman USAF.
• Organize, schedule, implement and monitor the activities of assigned operational safety programs in support of organizational safety programs for organizational elements and tenant activities.
• Perform inspections of Holloman 7 asset buildings at USAF base facilities, warehouses, and equipment maintenance operations.
• Assist with 25-30 IAP site checks at WSMR. Conduct Initial Accumulation Point (IAP) and Hazardous Waste Accumulation Site (HWAS) site surveys to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure personnel perform training classes, to ensure that personnel are aware of hazards and accident prevention.
• Exercise tact, diplomacy, and persuasive ability in obtaining the cooperation and assistance of personnel currently working at Holloman AFB.
• Ensures the IAP is managed in accordance with the IAP Managers Guide
• Notifies the Hazardous Waste Program Manager (HWPM) and HAZMART of any changes in hazardous waste activities, including waste stream process modifications, relocation of IAPs, and names of newly assigned IAP managers
• Maintains adequate emergency spill response capability, IAP Site-Specific Contingency Plan and personal protective equipment;
• Ensures hazardous waste is properly characterized, segregated, containerized, marked, labeled, stored, and transferred for disposal
• Provides IAP appointment letter.
• Assist with Fire Inspections. Required exit signs and emergency lighting are properly illuminated and operational.

• Inspect occupational safety and health regulations at WSMR of over 200 buildings.
• Identifying potential health hazards at WSMR to include ATEC, Army and Navy buildings. This involves civilian, military and contractor personnel to ensuring compliance with established occupational safety and health regulations; and/or utilizing automated systems to prepare a variety of technical reports.
• Provide information to WSMR, ATEC, Army and Navy personnel on safety or occupational health subjects; collecting/monitoring exposure data to assess work practices and environmental conditions; and/or monitoring exposure data to assess environmental conditions.
• Scheduling and executing WSMR inspections and preparing reports; evaluating potential health hazards to recommend mitigating courses of action; and/or training employees in safety or occupational health subjects.
• Coordinate, schedule and conduct regular inspections for potential health hazards on WSMR base facilities, warehouses, and equipment maintenance operations.
• Equipment Manager; schedule Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS) for Industrial Hygiene equipment with WSMR TMDE and William Beaumont Hospital medical maintenance team.
• Revise and purchase, new equipment for the WSMR Industrial Hygiene program.

• Occupational Health Technician for over 1000 employees at WSMR.
• WSMR Occupational Health Technician performs a wide variety of technical and administrative functions in support activities needed to identify, mitigate, manage, and control occupational disease and injury to personnel in the workplace using standardized risk assessment methodologies.
• Medical surveillance of hearing, ammo, CDL, asbestos, respiratory and lead for employees at WSMR to include ATEC, Navy, Army, Air Forces (USAF). Identify and analyze health hazards and potential hazards of employees present exposure.
• Prepare official required documentation for current WSMR employees and/or new hires under Department of Defense (DOD) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Ensuring that candidates meet requirements.
• Schedule and prepare physical for employee at WSMR. Research appropriate DOD and OSHA acquisition regulations to ensure employee meets regulation and standards.

• MedeVac unit support for 1st Cav Division. Which has more than 40,000 soldiers and supporting units.
• Delivered basic, advanced and critical care to injured and ill patients traveling to hospital trauma centers via aircraft.
• Prioritized care from initial patient contact through relinquishing care to hospital staff to obtain best possible outcomes.
• Monitored usage of equipment and supplies, reported medical equipment failures and maintained necessary supplies onboard aircraft to deliver care.
• Complied with safety regulations to maintain well-being of flight crew and patients.
• Army Flight Instructor (FI) or Standardization Instructor (SI) is a specialized position responsible for training, evaluating, and certifying rated pilots, non-rated crew members (such as flight engineers or crew chiefs), and operator personnel in the safe and effective operation of Army aircraft UH-60 (Blackhawk)and UH-1H Huey.
