Graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1975 where I was a Vice President of my Sr Class and State Tennis Champion.
Attended Central State University (now UCO)
Where I finished fourth for Outstanding Senior Man and was President of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
I gave my life to Jesus between my Sophomore and Junior years and began attending Lakeside Assembly of God, which was pastored by Southwestern grad Greg Whitlow, who was my cousin.
As I was graduating from CSU, I felt called into ministry and enrolled at Southwestern College in the Fall of 1979 and graduated in 1981.
I served as youth pastor at my home church Lakeside Assembly for 15 years.
I traveled the state and nation the next 18 years talking to students and parents about the value of sexual purity with a ministry I started, Worth The Wait.
In 2010 and 2012, I volunteered in the congressional campaigns for youth ministry friend James Lankford.
In 2014 and 2016 I was grass roots director for Lankford’s campaigns for US Senate.
In 2018 an organization known as Oklahoma Faith Leaders formed with me as President.
OFL is a coalition of six morally conservative denominations that work together on public policy that affects Oklahoma’s Faith community.
