• Provide therapeutic services. Therapy is provided in individual, family and group settings. Group therapy is focused on those clients with substance abuse issues. The therapist is the head of the Treatment Team. Treatment team meetings were held on a monthly basis. The therapist is in charge of creating, revising and helping/assisting the client (and family members) complete the goals and objectives identified in the treatment plan. Client load was 20. Client’s diagnoses ranged from PTSD, Major Depression, Substance Abuse/Dependence, Mental Retardation, Autism, Sexual Abuse (perpetrator and victim), Psychosis, Oppositional Defiance, Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Mood Disorder NOS, etc…
• Built strong rapport with clients, fostering trust and open communication for effective therapy sessions.
• Maintained detailed case notes and documentation, ensuring effective tracking of progress and continuity of care across providers.
• Established clear boundaries with clients, maintaining ethical practice standards while preserving the therapeutic relationship.

• The BMS program aims to prevent at risk children from being placed outside of the home or expelled/suspended from school. Provide 1:1 services to clients. Services include providing behavior management skills/techniques to youth who have behavioral issues stemming from their diagnoses. Services were provided in the school and community settings. I also provided parenting skills training through in-home services. I also was responsible for completing a monthly service review.

• Provide case management for clients and their families. Identify, locate and connect client/family with community resources. Community resources include education, medical/mental health, housing, clothing, food, transportation, in/outpatient therapeutic services, psychotropic medications and psychological evaluations. Caseload was 20 clients.

• This job was held during my undergraduate studies. I worked in the warehouse and assisted with filling and shipping of our customer's orders. I helped trained new employees develop the skills necessary for maximum production. I helped instill company values, trained and worked according to the company’s mission statement. I was successful in accomplishing the company’s core objectives/goals.

• I learned in unity to accomplish all objectives/goals. I acquired leadership skills and abilities while progressing through multiple ranks by upholding military standards and guidelines. I gained invaluable experience by working with numerous ethnic backgrounds and various personalities. I also learned how to work under pressure, in adverse conditions while remaining motivated, focused and determined to achieve/accomplish the planned out goals and objectives.
