Summary

My career with Benjamin Moore started at the warehouse/factory in the Chicago area. In 2000 the company decided to stop production at the facility and I was retained to move to their new warehouse. In 2018 I requested a transfer to the location here in Aurora, and it was granted.

After a long healthy career with Benjamin Moore, I am looking for a new challenge. I am a reliable, dedicated employee that strives to give 110% every day. I am fair to our employees and work closely with them to help them to do their best. I have explained to my employees that I was in their shoes for so long that I can truly understand their struggles and accomplishments. This has helped me to be a better boss, and it makes it easier for my employees to talk to me when they are having problems with the job, or issues with other employees.

  • I have worked for Benjamin Moore for 38 years. My experience includes 8 years in production 1992-2000, where I was an Assistant Lead from 1997-2000, and 30 years in the warehouse with 5 years of being an Assistant Lead 2015-2020 and I have been a Lead since 2020. I have been in charge of our Continuous Improvement program at the warehouse for the last 8 years.
  • My responsibilities include working closely with my staff to make sure that product gets out the door in a timely matter wether it be by supervising or working with them on the floor by picking orders of helping to replenish the bins to make sure that they can get the job done. I also help manage the receiving aspect to make sure that everything is received and put away properly.
  • I have vast experience with our Warehouse Management system and minimal experience with working in our SAP system, which at this time is not necessary at our company.
  • Other responsibilities include:
  • Creating Purchase Orders for our facility
  • Cycle counting and Inventory control
  • Managing our employees, including semi annual reviews and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Traveling as needed by the company to assist with annual inventory or in any other capacity.
  • Managing goods disposal with our damaged products.
  • Monthly safety inspections and reports.
