I believe working for Montebello Unified School District as a campus supervisor for the past 20 years has taught me how to interact and communicate with children on many levels. Throughout my tenure at MUSD, I have worked many campuses (elementary - high school} and I feel it has prepared me to be a school psychologist.
Assist school administrators, performed the task of patrolling the school campus and immediate adjacent areas; monitor student arrival and release, supervised visitors’ activities, student detention, parking and traffic control; discourages inappropriate student behavior; maintained appropriate student records and files; and performed various tasks as needed. .
During my tenure at Bell Gardens High School, I coached two varsity sports, wrestling and baseball. Wrestling and baseball are two completely different sports mentally, but I enjoyed the challenge. Many of my student athletes wrestled and played baseball for me because I treated them with respect and they knew I genuinely had their best interest at heart.
