  • Led Greenfield land acquisition campaigns for utility-scale solar projects. Project responsibilities included:
  • Collaborating with GIS, Transmission, and Land Teams to identify and qualify suitable development sites to achieve target MW capacity, determine parcel ownership, development constraints, points of interconnection, and alternative development sites.
  • On-site/telephone landowner canvassing to determine initial interest, site potential, and community sentiments.
  • Building and tracking client relationships through land lease and purchase option negotiations.
  • Facilitating real estate lease and purchase negotiations with Urban Grid Legal and Director of Land. Performed detailed review, analysis, and input based upon project budget, market factors, risk management, and previous negotiations.
  • De-risking signed projects with Early Stage Development Team.
  • Led Urban Grid's in MISO Central, with additional focus on PJM and TVA. Completed targeted MW leasing on the following:
  • Chicory Solar, LLC, Clay County IL - 150 MW utility scale solar facility.
  • Twinleaf Solar, LLC, Shelby County IL - 100 MW utility scale solar facility.
  • Arrowhead Solar, LLC, Champaign County IL - 150 MW utility scale solar facility.
  • River Birch Solar, LLC - 150 MW utility scale solar facility.
