The past 17 years I have sold and supported timekeeping software that had many features. Most of those years included national trade shows in the bigger cites but most of my time I was working remotely training the HR department for companies large and small. The timekeeping system was primarily sold to businesses that had a large number of employees that were not all in one location, (janitorial companies, security guards) Usually these employees were working unsupervised and we provided the accountability that they were onsite using GPS and or caller ID. I worked with customers in all 50 states and all over Canada by remotely logging in and assisting HR personnel set up the locations that would be serviced and the and connecting the employees to them.

The software allowed schedules to set up alerts for late arrivals and no-shows so that nothing was missed as most of these companies were employing hundreds of people. Budgets were another big part of this system and I assisted with setting these budgets and staying within them. The software had many other features including inspections software for monitoring quality control and sharing the data with whoever needed to see it. The timekeeping was also formatted to export to all the major accounting packages that are available.

This position required great customer service and sales ability to first acquire and keep customers all while working remote. I was able to grow with this company and learned from a lot of these company owners.

I traveled all over south Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina selling replacement windows to homeowners and businesses that were affected by that storm. We had professional crews that would tear our the old and put in the new. I was great at this job because I had many years of experience at the wholesale level with a manufacturing company that primarily worked with windows,doors and millwork. This was more than 20 years ago in Tallahassee Florida.
