To seek a position as the Assistant Operations Manager with the Lewis Bolt and Nut company located in La Junta, Colorado. I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. I haver the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. I am a dependable Brake Press Operator, forklift operator and 5 ton crane operator with knowledgeable about inputting commands, setting tolerances and maintaining equipment. I am dedicated to the industry and always seeking opportunities to produce better components and reduce breakdowns or other problems impacting production results. I am skilled in tooling changeovers, equipment set up and sequence planning as well as preventative maintenance.

• Coordinate with parole officers and case managers for inmates who are meeting with the parole board.
• Coordinate with the Classification Supervisor, Chief of Security, and Case Managers for Ad-seg hearings.
• Reviewing the different custody levels of offender who are housed in Restrictive Housing.
• Coordinate with the state of Colorado to transport offenders in and out of the facility to keep up the heads in beds (HIB's) number of offenders in our population.
• Coordinate functions with outside volunteers for programs such as sports and religious activities. (outside entities entering the facility)
• Coordinate functions with the Chaplain and outside volunteers with religious services including: Christian faiths, Catholic faiths, Muslim faiths, Wiccan faiths, Jewish faiths, Native American faiths, etc.
• Coordinate with the offender population to obtain appropriate movies for inmates on weekly movie nights.
• Coordinate staff functions such as bowling day, staff barbecues, fun days (picnics), golf day etc.

• 30 years of experience in the Corrections field including the states of New Mexico, Texas and Colorado to include multiple facilities in each state.-state jurisdictions.
• 9+ years experience as a mid-level manager to include Lieutenant and Captain.
• 15+ years as a member of the executive management team to include Assistant Warden, Chief of Security and Chief of Unit Management.
• 6 years experience on the Special Operations Response Team with multiple years as a SORT Commander with multiple tactical missions in tandem with law enforcement agencies and other Colorado Department of Corrections Emergency Response Teams.
• 24+ years of supervising an employee base of over 309 security / support staff through a structured chain of command.
• Experience in policy development, implementation, and revision, based on changing expectations, specifically with the contract partners.
• Experience as a trainer for Specialty impact munitions (SIMS), Chemical munitions, Pressure point control tactics (PPCT) and firearms (shotgun/pistol/rifle), Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) as well as numerous classes for in-service and pre-service on an annual basis.
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) certified in emergency management through FEMA with experience as an Incident Commander, Operations Section Chief, Logistics Section Chief, Planning Section Chief etc. during an assortment of operations and emergencies.
• Serves as the facility PREA coordinator at CCCF and implemented the program from its inception from the federal government passing three federal audits.
• Developed Corrective Action Plans (CAP's) to correct deficiencies as it relates to various audits from both internal as well as external agencies.

For 30 years I was  employed with CoreCivic. During this time I served in every capacity in the security department and operations. I served as a Chief of Unit Management and as a Chief of Security, and Assistant Warden of facility Operations before my retirement from corrections in April 2024,  

I had worked at the Crowley County Correctional Facility for over 15 years and completely know and understand the operations of the facility to include the history of why particular protocols and procedures are currently in place.
