Became Location Manager after the sale of Colfax Farmers Elevator. Reported to the general manager/owner of Minn-Kota Ag Products in all aspects concerning the Colfax location. Financial performance, product inventory and grain movement to area growers including sales calls were main responsibilities.

Became responsible for the operation of the Colfax Farmers Elevator which included the agronomy and grain departments. Manged all full and parttime employees, negotiating salary and bonuses. Financial aspect was a big part of the role as well as grain merchandising. Managed the department heads to move the company forward. Planned and ran the monthly board meetings providing financial details and all things dealing with the elevator. Approved all big purchases including building a fertilizer plant. Facilitated the sale of Colfax Farmers Elevator to Minn-Kota Ag Products.

Promoted to agronomy department manager where I was responsible for chemical, seed, fertilizer and custom application for the Colfax Farmers Elevator. I managed all full and part-time agronomy employees. Responsible for all equipment and building for agronomy, purchased all the parts and repairs. I performed sales calls also managing and training others is making sales call to are growers. Financial performance was a big part of managing the agronomy department.

Responsible for chemical seed department includes serving area growers in their operations to increase profitability. Sales was a big part of managing the department, I performed sales calls in addition to managing sale agronomists. I purchased the inventory for the department and managed the movement of inventory and employees. I took care of the custom application of chemicals on the area farms, made sure they were applied safely and effectively.
