Chandler Petty

I am Paul Chandler Petty, but I am known by my friends and family as Chandler. I was born in Fairfax, Virginia, and grew up there. I am the oldest of four siblings, and I have always loved being an older brother. Some of my hobbies include hiking, playing board games, and exercising. I love doing anything outdoors and I consider problem solving to be one of my strengths. I am a people person! I love being around others, and one of my life missions is to help others around me feel loved and included. In early November 2023, I got home from a two-year mission for the church, serving in the Honduras Comayaguela Mission. I am happiest while serving those around me. I am always looking for opportunities to serve within the church and to have testimony-building experiences. Over summer 2024, I worked as an FSY counselor and grew an immense love for the FSY program, as well as for serving and helping the youth of this church. Working with FSY was one of the best experiences of my life because of the wonderful spiritual experience it gave me, as well as the youth that I taught. I am currently a student at BYU.

• 2 Years in National Honors Society (25 hours of community service per year)
