• GENETIC DIVERSITY ANALYSIS OF 3K RICE (Oryza sativa L.) GENOTYPES BASED ON YIELD TRAITS AND REPRODUCTIVE HEAT TOLERANCE

The present investigation entitled “Genetic diversity analysis of 3k rice (Oryza sativa L.) genotypes based on yield traits and reproductive heat tolerance” was carried out with hundred genotypes of rice with a view to identify the heat tolerant genotypes,
study the nature and magnitude of variability, degree of association between yield and its components, direct and indirect effects of the different characters on yield, genetic divergence for selection of parents for hybridization programmes.

• Gained understanding of rural entrepreneurship and seed production practices
• Encouraged farmers to achieve supplementary income and regular crop revenue through intercropping models
• Disseminated Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) norms among cotton farmers
• Participated in agriclinics in Suryapet district, Telangana.
• Participated in harvest operations, contributing to timely completion of seasonal work goals.
• Aided in farm equipment maintenance, ensuring optimal performance throughout the growing season.

• Enhanced my skills in agriculture Farm mechanization, biological control (Rhizobium, Pseudomonas, Tricho-cards and Prepared vermicompost unit.
• Collaborated with subject matter experts to create relevant and accurate course content, ensuring optimal learning outcomes.

• Involved in crop production, protection management practices in major crops like Rice, Maize, Chilli, Groundnut, Onion and Cotton
• Coordinated with the research scientists and engaged with farmers of different villages as a part of extension activities (Minikit trials, Field visits, Agri exhibition, Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF), Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Seed treatments).
