Projects

3d-Printed Weight Driven Mechanical Clock

May 2023 - April 2024

  • Modeled and assembled all components in Fusion 360; utilizing principles of kinematics, dynamics, and gear-ratios.
  • Fabricated the clock using 3D printed parts, using fasteners and metal rods for structural stability.
  • Achieved accurate and consistent time keeping through iterations of gear design and tolerancing.

3D Printed Crankbait

May 2024 - June 2024

  • Designed a Functioning 3D Printed CrankBait Lure using Fusion 360 to replicate the motion and vibrations of a fleeing fish.
  • Prototyped Bill designs, weight configurations, and air pockets to achieve a swimming pattern when getting pulled by a line.
  • Tested numerous prototypes and configurations though fishing trials, and validated a final design.

Core XY 3D Printer With AI Monitoring

July 2025 - Present (ongoing)

  • Developing a CoreXY 3D printer from the ground up using Solidworks to achieve high speed, high quality 3D prints.
  • Designing beltpaths, linear rail systems, motor mounts, structural components, and a custom toolhead.
  • Planning the implementation of hardware and electronics including a hot end, stepper motors, controller boards, linear rails, and a hotplate.
  • Researching AI assisted, realtime print monitoring and correction using a Raspberry Pi and camera.
