  • All the transmissions that had thread damage, broken bolts and that had shafts stuck in them were fixed by me.
  • Using a series of threat kits and power tools I try to save as many transmissions as possible.
  • Sometimes bolts got broken inside transmissions and I would use a Mig welder and a couple of tools to get them out.
  • Some main shafts would gets stuck inside the transmissions so I had to cut the shaft while it was inside the transmissions with a cutting torch.
  • All of this was done with the safety in mind since fires were a big possibility.

  • I deconstructed Air Modules from semi transmissions and try to salvage as many parts as possible from each.
  • After separating each module parts I would clean them with a special cleaning supplies.
  • Once there was enough parts to build a batch of 30 modules I would re assemble them and test them to meet a specific standard.
  • After filling all the paper work for it i send them to the warehouse storage until they could be use.

  • I handle packages that are missing labels or have been rip open during transport.
  • After making fixing their problem I would send them off again.
  • To accumulate more hours I would help on the cleaning of the area after the shift was done.

  • I used the company software to input the parts used throughout the day because our own shop would replace them
  • I would remain aware of the cleanliness and safety of the welding area throughout the day as fires were a constant concern
  • Lastly it was my responsibility to keep the welders supplied with good equipment, tools and parts
