Ace Hardware of Clarkston is the area's only locally owned and operated Ace Hardware. We are here to serve our neighbors in a friendly and fun work environment. Our store opened in 2016 and continues to grow at a rapid pace due to the overwhelming support of the community. We were voted by our community as "Best of the Best" for the last two years in the Hardware category, over the other area Hardware Stores. As we are locally owned - we believe in staffing our store heavily and giving our associates latitude to make decisions to best serve the customer. We pride ourselves with having a very relaxed, un-corporate like environment. We are open 7 days a week, early to late and look for candidates that have flexibility to work retail hours. We strive to be a vital part of the community and provide outstanding customer service to each neighbor who walks through our doors. We are in need of: Experienced, reliable, and FRIENDLY retail associates to help with receiving and stocking as well as coordinating and performing deliveries. We are a high-volume store and we process a large volume of freight on a weekly basis. Additionally, we perform over 300 deliveries in the summer months so coordinating and supporting the delivery process is key. As we are a customer focused neighborhood business you will spend time on our sales floor with customers so you MUST enjoy customer interaction and delivering top notch service. The best candidates will not mind working in all weather conditions, have a strong sense of urgency, and will have a keen eye for accuracy and completeness in their work. Past Ace Hardware experience is a huge plus - with special salary consideration being given for having past Ace experience.
