Summary

As a student of color, I’m passionate about fostering racial sensitivity and creating a more united community where all people, especially youth in Croton, feel understood and safe. Serving as a youth member on the DEI committee will allow me to engage in critical conversations, collaborate with local leaders, and take an active role in shaping inclusive policies that directly impact my community. This role will also provide valuable experience as I prepare to study public policy during my senior year. I’m eager to contribute my voice and ensure that youth perspectives are represented in the policies that shape our community.
