Manage the command’s scholarship grant budget in excess of $35 million annually and a marketing and advertising budget of approximately $950,000 annually, including the distribution of funds to the colleges and universities. Provide analysis of current scholarship grant budget to determine appropriate courses of action that support mission requirements. Perform regular research and interpretation of federal laws pertaining to military service obligations, medical determinations, Cadet financial actions and scholarship grant eligibility. Apply knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to enlistment, student financial aid benefits, G.I. Bill applications and scholarship eligibility.
