· Prepared phage titers for over a dozen phage variants to test for phage efficacy in quantifying plaque-forming units in wild-type and genetically modified strains of Shigella spp.

· Assisted fellow researchers in drafting laboratory protocols, conducting experiments, and the cleaning of the laboratory.

· Presented current experimental progress to research team to contribute to ongoing Shigella biofilm assay research.

• Researched biosafety levels, hazards, pathogenic capabilities, methods of inactivation, and biochemical testing results for all 12,000 bacterial and fungal cultures in the legacy BDG collection.
• Authored 95 BRAM (Biological Risk Assessment Module) reports detailing information on each pathogenic organism and organisms utilized in past projects relating to antibiotic products and steroidal bio-transformations.
• Pioneered the process of recording an entire culture collection into BRAM and provided actionable feedback to implement in the novel BRAM system.
• Presented a detailed account of the culture cataloging project to the Kalamazoo Leadership Team and department managers.
