PARC specialized in erosion response planning and creation and implementation of shoreline restoration financing strategies, including creation of special tax districts and federal and state grant acquisition
The PARC team also helped communities develop land use planning guidelines and local permitting standards to manage and regulate coastal development, and ensure public shoreline access, and restore coastal wetlands and dunes
For private sector clients, PARC successfully planned, coordinated, and permitted responsible coastal projects including preparation of permit applications, inter-agency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and drafting EAs to identify and evaluate project alternatives and selection and permitting of the preferred alternative.
I serve as a NOAA Subject Matter Expert guiding grant applicants through the complex application process for the $575 million Climate Resilience Regional Challenge (CRRC), one of the nation's key climate change response initiatives authorized under the Inflation Reduction Act
