Good morning/afternoon/evening gentlemen. My name is PFC Thang, I am 18 years old, and I’m putting myself forward for the rescue squad in this CBIRF combat engineer unit because I know I have what it takes and Im ready to prove it. I’m not coming in saying I know everything, but I am coming in with the mindset that I’ll outwork, out learn, and outlast whatever is put in front of me. I’ve built myself around discipline and consistency. I wrestled in high school and it has taught me how to stay calm under pressure and keep fighting even when I’m exhausted or outmatched. I push for progress, and that same mindset applies to being a Marine. I’m resilient, I take correction well, and I don’t quit when things get hard. I also take pride in being obedient and reliable to my NCO and those appointed over me, because I understand that in a unit like this, trust and accountability aren’t optional but everything. I also like playing guitar and going out exploring. I believe I can lead Marines not just by rank, but by example. I’ll be the one who shows up prepared, stays motivated, and pushes others to be better without needing recognition. I want to be part of something that demands more, and the rescue squad in CBIRF is exactly that. I’m ready to earn my place and contribute to the team however I’m needed.
