  • I would prepare sermons for two churches each Sunday,The first church met at 9 am. When tht service was over i would leave and drive 15 miles to the 10:30 service. On alternating months, the service would be held at the third church, 6 miles farther away.
  • Small congregations afforded me to visit and get to know my sheep personally, I didnt use email or text but visited my sheep and got to know each of them personally. Thursdays was the day I would make my weekly visitations unless emergencies should arise. My people knew they coud call me anyy time, night or day.
  • On the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month, the ladies started a Bible study. After a while, they asked me to lead it, so we started with the Book of Matthew, and we took chapter by chapter, verse by verse. It grew from 6 ladies to 15 to 18 ladies faithfully. we also had ladies from other churches and denominations attending.
  • Met with individuals seeking counseling or advice on personal matters.
  • Officiated Funerals and Weddings when needed. Visitations to hospitals and nursing homes.
