• At Boggs Mountain Helitack, I have been working together with five other partners, and three Fire Apparatus Engineers to achieve the rebuilding of Boggs after the Valley Fire
• I took the lead on the UHIH- Basic Helicopter Safety Operations Training (BHOS)
• This included rebuilding the training Power points and building new books for the class
• Take on new firefighters every year and train them with great success
• Assisted in the Air Rescue Training
• Pride ourselves in being the leaders of safe, effective, and efficient operations, communication and customer service, internal and external
• Assist Howard Forest with a vegetation management burn and be the mix master for the helitorch
• Instructor for the S70i/ UHIH Helitack Captain Cadre for the past eight years, and now the lead instructor for the S70i Flight Crew Initial, and S70i/ UHIH Helitack Captain Academy
• Lead instructor for the Wildland Safety and Survival Level III
• Host two level (3) staff rides annually, one to the Lauder Incident and one to the Rattlesnake Incident.

• Mentored new firefighters in developing essential skills and understanding departmental expectations for performance excellence.
• Led a team of firefighters in extinguishing fires, minimizing environmental impact and potential harm to nearby residents.
• Responded to emergency medical calls to perform lifesaving procedures and other emergency medical services.
• Conducted periodic firefighter written performance evaluations and completed written recommendations on probationary firefighters.

• Direct supervision of an Inmate hand crew on wild land fires and responsible for taking them to and from grade projects with strong leadership skills to complete various tasks
• Task includes but not limited to brushing roads, paving, roofing, painting, and landscaping
• Working as a leader of a fire crew at Konocti Camp for ten months' other responsibilities included training the inmates to prepare them for fire season
• Teaching them to work together to achieve a common goal, discipline, giving monthly performance evaluations and mentoring the inmates.

• Working as a Seasonal Firefighter at a Helitack base responded to all types of fires from initial attack fires to major incidents, Short Haul Rescue as a Rescuer, Medevac, crew shuttles, and cutting hand line as a crew
• Duties included running a chain saw, swinging hand tools and back pumps to support helicopter and Air Tanker Drops.

• I worked as a Seasonal Firefighter I at Clearlake Oaks Station for three seasons.

• I have worked at Lakeport Fire for the past ten years as a part time Engineer and EMT
• Responding to all risk calls on an Engine, Truck, and Ambulance
• Received training on how to operate the departments truck and compressed air system for refilling SCBA bottles
• I have been involved in fire investigations of past structure, vehicle, and vegetation fires
• During the time at Lakeport, I also have been involved in the public education program including giving tours of the Fire House to elementary students, going to the schools or preschools to give demonstrations during Fire Prevention Week.
