Following college graduation, I began my nursing career during the height of a pandemic and a national nursing shortage. For this reason I have had to grow fast as a nurse, but I am still very eager to learn and develop my skills even further. I have treated a wide range of demographics from infancy to the geriatric population. In addition, I have a diverse knowledge of acute and chronic disease processes and their courses of treatment from my time on multiple medical surgical/tele/PCU units as a travel and staff nurse. I am currently working towards my career goal of obtaining a Doctorate Level Nurse Practitioner degree at The Ohio State University. Following my summer DNP fellowship at Mount Sinai in New York City, I am transitioning to critical care at The James Cancer Center upon my return to Columbus. My education experiences have helped shape my career to make me an adaptable and flexible nurse who makes safe patient care a top priority.
