Combining a background in healthcare, as an occupational therapist, my role as a business analyst can offer a unique and valuable skill set.

1. My firsthand experience working in healthcare provided me insights into the practical aspects of how systems and processes impact patient care.

2. I used my Analytical skills to interpret data related to patient outcomes, treatment efficacy, and resource utilization to enhance overall quality of care

3.My experience in occupational therapy involved collaborating with various stakeholders, including patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, gathering needs and requirements to translate into protocol for successful patient rehab outcome.

4.My familiarity with privacy, health information systems and electronic health records (EHRs) is an asset. 5.As healthcare is a highly regulated industry, understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and patient privacy laws is beneficial when working on projects that involve regulatory adherence and compliance. 6.As an OT, my skill to design clinical interventions tailored towards patient condition and medical needs is an asset for user centered designing.

7.I have gained an effective communication skill working as an OT which is an asset in Business Analysis.

8.Changes in technology and Healthcare cannot be averted. My experience can aid in change management efforts, helping teams adapt to new systems and processes.
