Camp Shriver is a one-week inclusive summer day camp that brings together children with and without disabilities for a week of sports, friendship, and fun. As a Camp Shriver volunteer, I am responsible for supervising and engaging a small group of campers in daily activities like sports, games, and team-building exercises. I help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all children—both with and without disabilities—can make friends and have fun. I lead activities, encourage participation, support positive social interactions, and assist with daily routines such as arrival, meals, and transitions. I work closely with other volunteers and staff to make sure every camper has a positive and memorable experience.
