Porter Blackman

I am a filmmaker with 10 years of experience directing, writing, and editing films. My passion for filmmaking is motivated by my love for telling a compelling story. My writing is primarily informed by my background as a Psychology major at the College of Santa Fe. After graduating in 2007, I continued my education in film at Santa Fe Community College, where I learned film crew and directing from professionals in the industry.

When moving back to Spartanburg, SC, I produced wedding videos and partnered with local businesses to create promo videos. I have worked on over ten short films I wrote, edited, and directed, and I edited three films by other directors.

I have moved back to Santa Fe to pursue a master's in art therapy, but I plan to pursue filmmaking while out here.
