Works with the Student Services team to design, develop and implement student support services for the academic programs in Mechanical Engineering. Implements changes in policies and procedures to enhance the program. Coordinates recruiting of students. Supports scheduling of classes and lab session. Assists with campaigns of student engagement.
Assist with training new Student Services staff, Provide advice and guidance to other advisors, Collaborate with team members to improve policies and procedures. Advise prospective ME students for transfer orientation Attends regular CECAS student services meetings to stay current on relevant policies and procedures,-Assists in development of student engagement opportunities. Creates an environment of support and open dialogue with students. Manages the maintenance of confidential records for all students in Mechanical Engineering. Checks advising forms for students to ensure compliance with rules. Performs graduation checks. Coordinates assessment process for the undergraduate program. Researches and submits request for curricular exceptions. Process course substitutions. Educates and process requests for Academic Forgiveness. Provide registration support and overrides. Submit student registration corrections.- Document all student appointments in CU navigate.- Document academic forms including academic forgiveness.- Assists ME faculty as needed.
