Wake County EMS Summer Intern

This internship is aligned to the WCPSS internship standards for hours and obligations. The program will span over the summer months, providing a wide variety of opportunities and content. Students will be immersed in our academy, simulations, field trips, specialty classes, and ambulance observation shifts. Students will be exposed to the different departments that make our EMS system function each day. The final project will require students to reflect upon the experiences during the internship and will be presented at the conclusion of the program. Upon successful completion of this internship, interns will have 120 hours and may be eligible for one (1) credit hour
