This internship is aligned to the WCPSS internship standards for hours and obligations. The program will span over the summer months, providing a wide variety of opportunities and content. Students will be immersed in our academy, simulations, field trips, specialty classes, and ambulance observation shifts. Students will be exposed to the different departments that make our EMS system function each day. The final project will require students to reflect upon the experiences during the internship and will be presented at the conclusion of the program. Upon successful completion of this internship, interns will have 120 hours and may be eligible for one (1) credit hour

• Ensure orderly meetings by advising on proper parliamentary procedure (such as Robert’s Rules of Order) to maintain fairness and efficiency
• Uphold council bylaws and governing documents
• Train members and officers on parliamentary procedure
• Advise the president on parliamentary matters

• Serve as chapter president for the 2025–2026 school year
• Oversee all HOSA programs and ensure members receive support to explore careers in the medical field
• Lead efforts to revamp the Medi-minds program, including tutor allocation and earnings collection
• Support the middle school HOSA chapter and help plan events to conclude the year successfully

• Created a STEM-focused Instagram account teaching science concepts through K-dramas, K-pop, and game characters
• Produce engaging educational content in my spare time and actively work to grow the account (12.7k+ followers)

• Learn foundational concepts in biomedical engineering and tissue engineering
• Study different forms of tissue constructs and how to address medical problems by designing products

• Run a passion project focused on disease and body system education
• Research and create posts explaining different diseases to make medical knowledge more accessible
• Plan to expand the project and continue nurturing it over the coming years

• Support an organization dedicated to providing education for underprivileged children worldwide
• Help plan accessible lessons and events and raise funds for charities and orphanages
• Work with the team to close learning gaps and provide resources for students globally

• Coordinate We Hold Hands initiatives within North Carolina
