Major Responsibilities and accomplishment:

• Developed a machine learning model using Python and OMOP CDM standards to predict readmission and mortality for heart failure patients based on EMR data.
• Developed a GNN model using PyTorch Geometry and RDKit package to classify molecules based on ATC class using the ChEMBL database.
• Conducted training sessions on smart health using FHIR for more than 45 participants from 30 different institutions.

Major Responsibilities and accomplishment:

• Conceptualized and developed a research project focused on developing a machine learning-based cervical cancer screening tool from scratch.
• Architected and developed data capture tools to support multiple research projects.
• Provided training to fellow researchers on the use of OMOP CDM and OHDSI tools for personal level prediction.
• Developed an ETL pipeline using R and SQL to normalize survey data

Major Responsibilities and accomplishment:

• Established Division of Biomedical Informatics from scratch, collaborated with numerous departments and national/international partners, and developed multiple research projects and digital health interventions.
• Designed and managed research projects, resulting in 5+ scientific publications since 2020.
• Developed pipelines for handling data from EMRs, registries, mobile sensors, and open databases, and mapped them into standards such as OMOP CDM, FHIR, and ontologies.
• Analyzed data and developed machine learning models for multiple research projects.
• Architected, prepared requirement document and supervised development of mHealth app for management of gestational diabetes in collaboration with Rutgers University and funded by National Institute of Health(NIH)
• Architected the MiRA mHealth app for hypertension, diabetes, and antenatal care in primary care settings as a Technical Lead in collaboration with London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Public Health foundation of India
• Co-investigator for research project "Sustainable Development in Bioinformatics to Support Public Health" to standardize output of antimicrobial resistance gene detection tools funded by Public Health Alliance for Genomic Epidemiology
• Developed "Telephone-based Remote Monitoring of COVID-19 cases at Home" in 2 weeks leveraging Google BigQuery, Data studio, and workspace for Dhulikhel Hospital, Karnali Province Government, and Bagmati Province Government, which serves more than 5 million people supported by largest private telecom company of Nepal.

Major Responsibilities and accomplishment:

• Published a peer-reviewed article as shared first author, showcasing expertise in research design, data management, and analysis.
• Conceptualized and designed research projects, developed research protocols, and built electronic data capture tools for multi-country studies, demonstrating proficiency in project management and collaboration.
• Built data extraction scripts, data management pipelines, and conducted data analysis using R and Python for research projects focused on indoor air pollution and women's health in Nepal, showcasing expertise in data analysis and technical skills.
• Architected the Tele-health platform for infectious disease

Major Responsibilities and accomplishment:

• Successfully developed a performance review system for 18 rural community-based health centers and public health interventions.
• Evaluated Public Health program delivery operations, goals and impact with surveys, operation logs and assessments.
• Strategized with leadership to improve data driven decision-making and deliver recommendations for successful program, policy and planning.
• Designed data schema, electronic data capture tools, and data management pipelines for cohort studies and other research projects, including the first cohort study in Nepal.
• Established baseline for the Improved Cooking Stove for Respiratory Health project
• Developed and tested the longitudinal school-based health record "Student Health Profiles," which was successfully implemented in 25 schools.
