Roles and Responsibilities:

• Led OFB sign-offs, defined test strategy, Wi-Fi Alliance certification, and scoped QA efforts across the product lifecycle to ensure milestone-based quality coverage for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location Services, and SOS/Assist call.

• Supported pre-silicon validation efforts by aligning test cases and requirements with post-silicon hardware behavior.
• Developed and maintained test cases based on functional specifications and evolving product requirements.
• Led black-box testing across platforms, focusing on performance validation, RvR (Rate vs. Range), interoperability, EFI, MFG testing, and stress/regression scenarios.
• Created and maintained test setups, authored test plans, and published comprehensive test reports for each software release candidate.

• Authored detailed and effective test plans outlining strategy, objectives, test cases, schedule, estimations, and deliverables for Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) certification.
• Conducted black-box testing focused on performance validation, RvR (Rate vs. Range), interoperability, and stress/regression testbeds.
• Set up and maintained complex test environments, executed tests, and published comprehensive release test reports for each software candidate.
• Performed initial triage and root cause analysis of defects, including interpreting sniffer wireless packet captures (e.g., via Wireshark) and generating detailed debug logs.
• Collaborated with development teams to prioritize, reproduce, and resolve bugs, including customer-reported issues recreated in lab environments.

Project Description: WCN1320 is a 4x4 MIMO wireless Access Point 802.11n WLAN chip operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, supporting up to 600 Mbps data rates. WCN1312 is a single-chip, high-performance 802.11n solution designed for handsets and mobile devices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designed and prepared test bed setups, providing detailed equipment lists and specifications to management.
• Conducted black-box testing covering AP interoperability, Protection, Aggregation, Power Save, Stress, WPS, Security, Sanity, and Over-the-Air throughput performance.
• Raised change requests (CRs) and bugs based on test outcomes; performed protocol-level debugging, wireless packet analysis using sniffers, and delivered detailed logs to developers for resolution.
• Collaborated with developers and software engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Supported all Engineering Sample (ES) and Customer Sample (CS) testing activities.
• Gained hands-on experience with Android platforms and network testing tools such as Iperf, IXIA Chariot, and Azimuth channel emulator.
• Managed test bed setup, maintenance, and upgrades to keep environments current.
