Optum Financial Services business grew over few years and their current infrastructure and application were not design for that growth. In 2019 team decided to recreate more modern architecture using public cloud (Azure), Domain driven architecture, Microservices and MicroFrontend architecture. Part of this modernization effort we build infrastructure from code using Terraforms, Ansible. Each terraform scripts had remote state storage so that every time we make changes we dont rely on the states of the infrastructure on local machine.
