Hi, my name is Preston Taylor. I'm 20 years old, I'm engaged, I own a dog, and I'm looking for an opportunity to learn and grow as a cook, but also as a man. I have been out on my own since I was 16-17, and I have been in the hospitality industry since then, though I have always had roots in this line of work. My mom was a waitress for 10 years, along with my two uncles, who were cooks for more than 30 years; along with 1 in Montana working as a chef, my mom isn't too shabby at cooking, as well! But really, it goes deeper than that; my dad owned two casinos in Montana, as well as one restaurant, before filing for bankruptcy in 2014. My Nana also owned two restaurants and was a GM at a big restaurant in Southern California back in the '70s and '80s. I understand hard work, and I am willing to do so. This industry is special, and I have a dream of owning my own restaurant someday, and possibly being called a chef, but to do that, I need to learn. I will stage anytime and in any position; I do not fear long haul. All I ask for is a little patience and respect to prove myself to your team and you. I'm a very hard worker, but I am very passionate about life, and I just want a shot to prove how we can bring value to each other if you'd like to hire me. I'm a big people person, and I recently just got back into sports and was the assistant head coach for travel lacrosse, so I am looking for any leadership positions and future long-term endeavors with the right people and a company that values hard work and puts people first.
