I have been working as a paraprofessional for 23 years. I have worked with all grade up to fifth grade. I have helped my teacher with various activities, small group, large group, one on one in all subjects. I have also subbed for various grades throughout the years of working in the school system. I have used the teachers substitute lesson plans and activities throughout the day to teach the grades. I have learned the aspects of classroom management, and how to handle behavior disruptions. I have used positive collaboration when I needed support from my teacher and fellow coworkers. I believe that student engagement can increase student achievement , improve grades and give motivation to students. I have supported the school with recess duties, bus duties and lunch duties.
