Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce compliance with all local, national, and company HSE regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to ensure staff awareness of safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation, including permits, risk assessments, safety data sheets (SDS), and inspection records.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Lead emergency preparedness initiatives including drills, first aid coordination, and evacuation planning.
• Track and report on HSE performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and recommend improvements.
• Support environmental compliance efforts such as waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.

• Ensure that the permit is displayed at the work site during the operation of the work.
• Before starting the work, the permit holder has to see whether the site and equipment are safe or not.
• Make sure whether the safety plan is being followed during the work or not.
• If the condition of the working site becomes dangerous then the permit holder should take all the personnel to a safe place.
• Whenever there is an emergency, no work should be conducted under the permit, it has to be seen by the permit holder.
• When the work is over, the permit should be returned to the area authority.
• Intervene whenever need to apply safety rules and protect people and equipment.
