We restored vintage Porsches from the early 1950s up to the late 1990s. We would completely or partially disassemble cars to rebuild engines, transmissions, suspension, brake assemblies, and more to above factory standards. I did disassembly work to prepare parts for reassembly such as hot tanking, vapor blasting, plating hardware, powder coating, and welding. Some rebuilds are complete tear-down and rebuild jobs. On custom builds we had a lot of freedom of how the finished product would turn out. Hollerans Performance is mainly known for building some of the best performance and stock air-cooled engines in the United States.

I performed regular automotive repairs such as oil changes, brakes, suspension work, engine work, and transmission services.

I also service wrote as a part of my job. I would greet customers, check vehicles in, assign technicians to vehicles, write up repair information, call parts supply stores to gather part pricing and labor times to quote customers.
