Quinten Smith

While working as an assistant camp counselor, I supervised kids from ages 6-14. Some of my everyday responsibilities included taking campers to different locations on the campus, teaching them how to play sports, setting up equipment, and serving meals.

While volunteering in Vietnam, I brought food donations to an orphanage with over 300 kids. I spent time talking to them and learning about their lives.

During my time as a coach, I taught kids in elementary school and junior high how to play and improve their basketball skills. My role was to serve as an example. I helped build their confidence through words of encouragement.
