• Full time position as the only nurse in a busy physician’s office. The role served in this position was that of a clinical coordinator and assistant to the lead physician.
• Responsible for communicating with physician and coordinating with staff members, in order to fulfill the doctor’s orders and to meet the needs and requests of patients within the practice on a daily basis.
• Also Responsible For:
• Responding to phone calls and emails on behalf of the physician with prior approval.
• Performing phone consultations, phone triage, and assisting with any walk-in patients.
• Providing the physician with regular status updates on patient conditions, or situations pertinent and relevant to office function.
• Transcribing and entering orders via Quest and Labcorp systems. Transcribing and noting medication orders. Communicating with pharmacies on the behalf of the doctor.

• Full-time position in an acute clinical setting at an outpatient hemodialysis center. This role required the ability to function both as a member of a patient care team and independently. The sole Nurse responsible for overseeing the treatment of up to 32 patients a day. Daily management of patient care includes:
• Clinic opening/closing responsibilities, water safety checks, initial assessments, vital sign monitoring, setting target fluid removal goals, adjusting machine parameter settings to maintain adequate vitals and reach goals, providing any necessary intervention, medication management, prescription management, transcribing, noting, and reviewing orders, patient education, and outgoing assessments.
• Electronic Medical Record maintenance, which includes reviewing records to ensure that various monthly and annual assessments have been completed and documented, as well as developing and reviewing care plans and assisting with the admission intake process.
• Evaluation and assessment of patients’ needs and communicating with the physician verbally and telephonically in order to assist the patient in obtaining any necessary consultations or referrals so that a high standard of care can be maintained.

• Full-time position on a labor and delivery unit, caring for expectant mothers, newborns, postpartum women, and other medical/surgical concerns in the area of women's health. Duties included:
• EFM and Toco monitoring.
• Monitoring the labor process and assisting in the delivery of newborns via spontaneous delivery, induction of labor, and Cesarean Section.
• Providing inpatient, observation, and triage patient care. Assisting with procedures and screenings. Circulating RN duties in the OR, monitoring patient recovery from surgery, and pre-op prep for surgeries.
• Completing assessments and vitals, IV management and lab draws, medication administration, communicating with physicians and other team members both verbally and telephonically, transcribing, noting, and reviewing orders, developing and reviewing care plans, patient education, and discharge planning.

• Per Diem position on a Medical/Surgical unit while also floating to ER, ICU, Stepdown, and Outpatient Oncology. Provided primary nursing care for assignments of 6-8 patients daily. Additionally, responsible for admissions, discharges, and managing outpatient therapies. Trained and oriented new staff members. Acted as Charge Nurse, when needed, by managing patient assignments and assisting with any arising patient care issues.
• Duties included:
• Conducting patient reports, assessments, medication passes, managing IV therapy, monitoring telemetry, laboratory specimen collection, assisting with bedside procedures, managing parenteral and enteral nutrition, performing peritoneal dialysis, blood transfusions, and use of equipment specific to surgical patients.

• Full-Time position on a Surgical/Pediatric unit with telemetry. Provided team nursing for adult and pediatric patients. Assignments consisting of up to 13 patients daily. Duties consistent with those listed above.
