I am passionate about growing and learning new skills. I have a 12-year-old son and help own and operate a small farm in Franklin County. I have worked with my hands for most of my career while also leading the express team at Heyward Allen Toyota for over 2 years. I have most recently learned and experienced the world of working on fork lifts while also being more involved with the customer service aspect of the automotive and mechanical industries.
During my time as a repair technician at Heyward Allen, I learned how to trouble shoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles. For a time, I was one of the lead technicians in accessory installation for our customers while maintaining high production rates.
As express supervisor, I was involved in the hiring, training, and (when necessary) disciplining process for my team of 20. I also created their work schedule each month in order to ensure adequate coverage for our customer/work load. I tracked productivity of the group and found ways to improve processes to increase production, all while maintaining high quality standards and verifying proper documentation of inspections. I tracked team hours and sales in order to make sure we achieved the goals set by our manager and helped created a compensation plan for the team that would have a positive impact on the expenses of the department, as well as on the team.
