  • Managed relationship with client executives from the identification of business opportunities through the diagnosis process and contract closure at GP Investments (3G Capital founders and first listed private equity firm in Latin America).
  • Led a team of consultants at Magnesita (today RHI), the largest refractory company in the world to create cultural alignment and standardize management systems between the firm's Brazilian headquarters and overseas acquisitions in Germany, China and the US. The project unlocked post-merger synergies of US$50 million.
  • Developed a new business follow-up model for Magnesita North America that contributed to a 25% increase in customer market share.
  • Developed and delivered presentations to executive level and key stakeholders, and facilitated discussions and decision-making process, functioning as trusted advisor to C-level client executives.
  • Participated in the deployment of Anheuser Busch InBev's CEO goals to his top management team. Led training sessions in Leuven and Prague with top-level management to facilitate the application of problem-solving methodologies.
  • Led budgeting and process improvement in all 16 mills at Gerdau Ameristeel, the largest producer of long steel in the Americas. Captured 11% in cost savings by implementing operational benchmarks and results cross-control follow-up routine across all geographies, despite a 43% decrease in production in 2008.
